Headway Calculator
RAILSIM's Headway Calculator
automates signal clearing time (minimum supportable headway)
processing for fixed block wayside and/or cab signal/ATC train control
designs. Accessible from both RAILSIM Editor and RAILSIM TPC, this
add-on records the entrance and clearance times for all defined track
circuits for End to End Runs. Combining this information with
user-specified information on control lines and train performance
characteristics, RAILSIM generates
Headway Reports detailing the aspect and/or code rate restoration
times behind the train for each wayside aspect/speed command at each location on the
rail system.

When accessed from RAILSIM Editor, this
module lets you generate an engineering drawing in CAD DXF format (complete with color
bar representation of Headways) in addition to the traditional RAILSIM
Headway Processing Report.
